What to Expect During Your First intake Visit (Assessment)

During the initial assessment process, your therapist will gather information regarding emotional wellness, current concerns, stressors, recovery needs, strengths, level of functioning, and treatment goals.

Treatment recommendations are individualized and may evolve throughout care based on progress, symptom presentation, life changes, and overall clinical needs.

Individualized Treatment Progression

Recovery-Oriented & Collaborative Care

Movement throughout the Treatment Continuum is individualized and based on:

  • Symptom severity
  • Emotional wellness
  • Level of functioning
  • Recovery stability
  • Treatment participation
  • Safety concerns
  • Progress toward treatment goals
  • Life stressors and support needs

Treatment recommendations may evolve throughout care as individuals experience stabilization, symptom improvement, emotional growth, or changing support needs.

Re-Assessment Frequency:

  • Wellness & Recovery Pathway: Every 90–180 Days
  • Supportive Care Pathway: Every 60–90 Days
